Banana Peach Smoothie

This is a very short post. The recipe was too good not to share..:)

When it comes to breakfast, I always prefer something savoury. Muffins, breadtoast et al take a backseat. Recently, when I started on a new weight loss schedule, I started having smoothies for breakfast. It took some time getting used to, but this particular smoothie was a love at first sip…:) The delightful flavours of mint and orange are  so invigorating that you become so energetic and ready for the day ahead.

Banana Peach Smoothie

Ingredients

1 ripe banana

1 big peach

3 tablespoons of chopped mint

Freshly squeezed juice from one orange

120 gm of plain low fat yoghurt

1/2 tablespoon of honey

Method

  • Blend all the ingredient together in a blender
  • Pour in tall glasses and serve
  • Garnish with mint, if desired

I am sure you will love this.
