Sometimes the best things happen when you expect the least. This recipe is one such instance. I added this, added that, a little bit of this and a little bit of that and the end product was this yummilicious
Apple -Oats -Dates Shake.
1 medium size apple, chopped bite-sized
2 – 3 tablespoons of quick cooking oats
1 tablespoon of honey
1 /2 tablespoon of flaxseeds
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup low fat milk, chilled
- Soak dates and almonds in about 50 ml of warm milk. Keep it overnight.
- Blend all the ingredients together in a blender and serve as desired.
There, your shake is ready.
I have this as my breakfast sometimes and at times, after my tryst with the gym.
